So isn't Raina already married? That was something I originally intended to address in this scene when I started it, but thanks to small tweaks and rewrites along the way, I lost my window to bring it up organically. (For now, at least.)
My inelegant solution is to simply tell you in this space that Raina and Isaac's father are separated, but not quite yet legally divorced at this time in the story. He's still on tour while Raina is home taking care of the family. I wanted to keep Isaac's connection to Chloe and Raina introduced in the VN for the time being, while still leaving Raina free to date someone else.
In any case I hope you guys enjoyed checking in on Raina, Sylvia, and Miles. I was thrilled to finally introduce them in the comic. And I hope you'll like what I have lined up next! The next scene certainly starts off differently than anything I've done so far in TRW. :)

Already answered on Discord of course but may as well reiterate here for everyone else: Well on my end it's more about that Sylvia has mostly been a minor character in the main comics, but even minor characters can take months of work to check in on with a full scene, so I do my best to condense. My goal over the next year in TRW is to finish at least a couple of story arcs so I can perhaps have a tighter focus on a few characters at a time, and not have to juggle so many at once like I have been

Feels like they’re moving too fast. Sylvia just got divorced and Raina is still technically married. Plus, not that much time could’ve passed since the VN so they’ve only been seeing each other for a short amount of time. Not to mention they both already have two failed marriages under their belts.
