Abbey joins the contest in our second update! She's got a sex scene, ending and new location to discover. New to this update is a gallery mode, though we're still in the early stages of getting it to work consistently so the male skin color might be random at times in the viewer. Expect this feature to evolve with each update.
Speaking of evolution, Kal and I have also been talking about the scope of the project overall. Initially Miss CastleWood wasn't intended to be a "sequel" to the first VN. I thought of it as more of a straight up old fashioned dating sim than an adventure. But the more we talk about what we want to do, the more adventure-like ideas start top creep into the conversation.
As always, feedback is greatly appreciated. What would you like to see in future updates? What works and what doesn't? In any case I hope you like what we've got so far and thanks for supporting while we figure this out!
PS: Kal also says that you can now use the left ctrl button in place of the left mouse to click through dialogue.

I will say it's not exactly "romance" that you get with Abbey here. It's much more transactional than that in a way that I feel keeps her in character. And this game is only loosely canon because I want everyone to be an option regardless of their relationship status in the comic. That way we can get people like Miss Holt and Elianna in there. :)

Well for me the game is unplayable, after talking to Megan I just got the background and no dialogue option. Problem solved looking at other comments. Just move the mouse to the upper screen to open the inventory to find character of interest

thanks for the suggestion :) I've got it noted down for potential improvements. The hotfix that's out should of removed the extra tracker for the time being.

Sorry, I started to type about this issue and distract myself. When I hover them mouse pointe on the top of the screen, it showed two trackers. If I select the first one, the tablet with the contestants are showed, but when I select one of them, the tablet didn't close and I don't have any button/option to close it. I have a suggestion: please, include an HUD indicator, or tooltip to activate the Tracker ;)

This sounds like a strange bug, sorry its acting up. What's happening exactly ? Are you seeing two trackers in the inventory? What's suppose to happen, is you get a notification that you recieve the tracker, the notification dissappears off to the top left and then only one should be in the inventory. Are you using an old save? Which platform are you on?

Yeah, I figured out that after post here. But there is two Contestant Trackers, and the first one does not close after selecting a contestant.

if you mean after you get the contestant tracker? if that's the part just scroll up to the top of the screen and the inventory will drop down.

It is kinda canon adjacent. There is some overlap between the main book and some stuff referenced in the game, but the core event is its own little plot culdesac, like a beach episode in an otherwise serious anime.
