🕑 Added 2025-03-04 01:38:23 +0000 UTCNow that the groundwork has been laid a bit on Miss Castlewood, I've resumed some work on our point and click adventure project, This Clandestine World. After numerous rewrites over the last year, I think the script is finally headed where I want it to go and I'm excited to start making assets for it again.
That said, many of the new characters I have in mind haven't been hammered out completely as far as their personalities go. So I thought maybe I should showcase them a bit here, and possibly get some input on how to make them more appealing. First up is the coffee girl, Tyler Girard!
Tyler is one of two characters in TCW so far that have a direct connection to a TRW character, in that she's Warren's cousin. (Fun fact her design was one I was initially going to use for Warren's mother.) I picture her as being exceedingly energetic and bubbly, maybe obnoxiously so at times. Like she's a barista that's sampling too much of her own product. I thought maybe that could just be what's on the surface though, that maybe she has a devious side and the bubbly part is just an act. Kind of like if I smashed Jane and Parker's personalities together, I suppose. Or like how Abbey was until the true goth self emerged.
But then part of me thinks she might be more appealing if there's no act and she really IS just obnoxiously positive and loud about it all the time. I haven't got to her in the script yet so it's still pretty up in the air. If you have any feedback to share, I'd love to hear it!

Well originally she wasn't chunky so she did look a bit less like Velma. XD And some of that thigh thiccness might be from me getting carried away with the foreshortening but I'm glad you like her look in any case!

Well I for one am glad to see another curvy girl show up- the soft tummy and wide hips are a great thing to add to your repetoire of ladies! I've gone on repeatedly about how your style, with the thick linework and lovingly rendered flesh-tones, is actually perfect for curves and thicc queens, and she has great breast proportions. The thighs actually look a little bit bigger than your usual work, too! I find that thigh thickness is a HUGE part to lead towards making girls look more natural and curvy as well, so I'd be delighted to see more of that appear in your work. I generally love longer hair but I guess the similarity to Velma is deliberate and a wise creative choice XD.

I think the bubbly personality might make a nice character for first impressions. It would make me want to know more about her deeper self. Like Who is this eccentric cutie and what kind of secrets does she have. Also, if the bubbly personality is genuine it would make her very interesting in bed. If she's as giddy about fucking someone she likes as she is with everything else. That might make for a fun sex scene.

Ooh that's a conundrum. I kinda like her simply being bubbly, but her having a *ahem* clandestine devious side hits a bunch of buttons for me. The bubbly side in that case doesn't necessarily have to be just an act either, it could simply just be part of who she is until you give her reason not to be so cheerful.
