In a rare moment of prudent behavior, I actually sketched out the next page and planned it alongside this one. I found that Halver narrating a flashback would make for snappier pacing than having what happens play out in real time would have. And in the meantime as always, I hope you are sufficiently cliff-hung.
Still trying to deliver on the feels from last week's page with the kiss here. Early drafts of this page had Lydia looking more smug, which I quickly realized was a mistake. She doesn't fall in love every day. If there was ever a time where she should look vulnerable, it's now.
