There's a lot to unpack here, but I didn't want to spend three pages of them just discussing the intricacies of what their relationship will be like from here on out. They'll still get to those details eventually, I just didn't want to just unload them all at once. So I figured I'd just keep things simple for now: Halver has realized he wants to be with Lydia, and he's the type to state his intentions plainly.
