Ayme, you commented that Daniel isn't very bright. He's the quintessential fool, the loose cannon that threatens everything. He's book smart, disaffected, the guy that comes along and pulls on a loose thread, and starts to unravel the whole rotten setup. Of course we love him. So does Esther, surprisingly. I have enjoyed watching their relationship slowly develop. She is moved by his folly, the kind that places a bet and follows through on it for the hell of it. She is probably also grudgingly impressed with his willingness to employ his increasing monster abilities, though he doesn't understand them. He does have guts. Thanks for creating this skewed screwball pair. I'm so glad you are continuing it as you can. I really like these two.

Yay! I’m glad to find out this went on hiatus the same day I discovered it, only to find out it’s already back! I literally saw a pic of Daniel and Esther looking cute together on r/rolereversal on Reddit and ended up binging all of the existing non-Patreon chapters in one day haha Amazing work so far, I can’t wait to follow along as it continues!
