Public release Tentacles Thrive Alpha v3.01 and Progress update
🕑 Added 2018-08-07 20:45:22 +0000 UTC Releases are here! v3.01 is considered quite an update. You can enjoy it through the usual platforms.In v3.01 version:
- Added 5 new Tentacle species
- Added voice work with newly edited effect to all mating scenes
- Added Dolphy bonding events
- Added Stamina/Injury and Food consequences and indicators
- Reworked Explore to allow solo exploring
- Added feature Nursing
- Implemented all Battle Effects for the available species
- Added enemy battle animation
**Web version's save/load uses browser cookies, which can get cleared. It is not hugely reliable, as well as not likely to be compatible with future web versions, unlike the downloadable files.
**Beware of food and injury consequences are now active. As a transitional arrangement, until more core features are introduced, if you have less than 1 food, load game will offer you 99 pieces of food.
As usual, to reuse your save, you must rename your newly downloaded file same as the one you saved your game, as well as putting it into the same directory of your previous file.

- New evolution mechanism - any form of breeding will now prioritize creating new Tentacle species
- Added 2 new species - Dionaea and Wolfong
- Added Wolfong bonding events

The Butanga Bonding scenes dont appear to be working correctly. Just get title text saying Bond scene 1, 2, 3 etc with no dialog. However the Dubois bonding scenes are great & well written. :)

It is Tier1, Armor class and Offense type. So perhaps Butanga + Butanga + Dolphy? Don't know if this is the highest chance combination.

Thanks. Yes I have thought about it. I have been debating to dev other core features first, as we are behind; or to work more on the save, as only the web version can benefit from this.
Have you thought about using text strings for saves. For example: Get all Data and encrypt it in strings and numbers. Users can then copy and paste their text strings into the game which decrypts it and gets all of the info. Another game called ARIA uses this concept. Might be something you want to look into as for web players it could be better.
