Presumably he'll be busy with internal affairs for a while. negotiating deals between Britannia and the Chinese Federation to modernize the CF's infrastructure (playing Victoria 3 gave me some perspective on how much work this would be), getting involved in the succession, finally having time to chase down leads on psionics... It's only been 12 turns into the game after all, and there's lots of plot threads to chase down.

I just read the full chinese invasion update again and I'm feeling really ambivalent about the whole thing. For one Lelouch just straight up got involved in a land war in Asia and is proving every common wisdom wrong by the power of dice and rerolls. I really really want to see how the world reacts to all this. To be a fly on the wall when V.V. goes to complain to Charles again. Then there is the insanity of what we just acomplished and what the potential payment and fallout is gonna be. I'm all in favor of getting a good price but at this point in time what even is Lelouch gonna ask ? The consort status sounds like a rock around his neck so could our QM give something easier like a concession like Taiwan was IRL ? Lastly I got to wonder what or even who exactly are gonna end up being our antagonists now. If we continue to suceed even marginally the support of the chinese federation is a given, so Austrália is a go, but now after this latest stunt, it's conquest sounds rather small you know... and for all that Guinevere has support in the mainland LvB just pulled the mother of all military stunts. That is gonna count for something right ?

It's to stop any large ships that they might try to sneak onto, out of desperation, from entering/leaving port on a temporary basis.
