It's funny how quickly he can shift from appearing capable to someone that needs to be looked after in the girl's eyes, at least for a moment. It helps explain why he could believably flunk out of the academy. I could imagine him needing to keep sticking a point in combat trees on occasion just to keep them from babying him. Satsuki could easily leave him in the dust once her eyes kick in.

I think it's more supposed to show the synergy effect mentioned in previous chapters, and how these power ups aren't really 2+2, but 2^n. That, and said synergy is always exponentially expanding with new powers.

There's nothing beyond personal preference stopping her from going to town with learning ninjutsu at the moment. If she overcomes her condition she would be perfectly fine to learn/master a taijutsu form or a sword form or whatever.

Deconstructing the shunshin, then deciding to go for yin-yang manipulation and chakra-conductive metals gives very 'Omae Wa Mou Shindeiru' vibes.

Once Yakumo learns Prana Bindu to a sufficient degree to overcome her illness, does that mean she will be at a point where she can learn all the ninja arts? Ie not just genjutsu or taijutsu/weirding way.
