After 25+ chapters of setting up a wild action chapter appeared. It used c;liffhanger. It was super effective. I'm really curious how this will turn out. A civilian training ninja candidates and showing great improvements combined with his other contributions. Then he takes on and disables/kills multiple chunin level opponents. And now most likely he set off a mini nuke in the forest outside the village walls as he most likely used one of his properly made explosion tags (instead of the normal that use a failed fire technique to explode). The most crazy twist based on some other changes would be Kota getting cornered by his pursuers and then saved by a loyal female version of Orochimaru (that would be very confused why Kota is more scared of her instead of his pursuers) that would then become the jonin sensei of a team made out of Satsuki, Narumi and Yakumo with Kota as an assistant teacher so Orochimaru could act as a bodyguard (like Kakashi with his Sharingan was a safety measure for Naruto). Kakashi might be playing Tobi for all I know. Or be the new Pain due to anger at Konoha for his father's treatment.

Orochimaru doesn't send the Sound Four/Five for every errand. Where was Mizuki planning to take the Scroll? Orochimaru has very few really competent underlings. But I'm honestly expecting Orochimaru to be another victim of gender bending and actually loyal to Konoha. Of course there will be a MC freak out when they meet about what the hell is going with this world.

The nice part is that it showcases how good the MC got to be, fighting enemies like that without holding so much back. The bad part is that it showcases how good he got to be without further instructions fromnthe konoha nin. Basically this was the last breath he's got to take before the illusion he isn't worthy of being a ninja is shattered. And good or bad is now going to have to play ninja politics with the Village and all its people. That is either going to go very well because of all the support he has or its going to be very tense. The fact hes got the Uchiha, the Uzumaki, the Kurama and even the hokage on his "side" is going to be countered by who ever got those chunnin and was trying to get him. I'm betting either orochimaru (though it does not seem his style) or foreign ninja.

I feel like the attackers shouldn't have bothered with a verbal cue to attack once they figured out they were made, but I guess they weren't that competent. Just competent enough to get into Konoha, which history has shown ain't that hard.

Holy shit!!! I love this chapter. Finally we see Kota not playing around. But I really hate waiting for the next one. Hopefully the continuation drop soon.
