All I can think of right now is SAO Abridged Kirito’s voice: “Bu I got good news! You see, there’s no need to wonder where your god is! ‘Cause he’s right here- and he’s fresh out of mercy.” I’m really looking forward to how you twist Kirito to be a power gamer who isn’t socially disturbed, and hopefully have plenty of in jokes from the MMO space.

Actually I think when he mentioned the devs were killed it also applied to Kayaba. From what I understood there was some kind of attack on the system that is running SAO and when it went public somebody, maybe a riot or maybe the antagonists, attacked the devs and killed them even when they were also diving and trying to fix the issue.

Currently the biggest question I have is why Si!Kazuto basically invited Suguha to try SAO? I am quite uncertain about the advantages he is planning to bring to SAO considering that Cardinal is a AI that constantly monitors and alters the various elements of the game In Real Time to mantain balance and that Kayaba is inside the game Aside from that i guess he is intimate with her (is this fic NSFW?), did he actually alter his NerveGear or it was just lip to calm her down? Still, really interesting

I always have been ambivalent to SAO. It is not the best LN/anime series ever or particularly original but for all of it is tropes and gags it is at least competent in what it sets out do. I'm more excited to see precisely what new elements are going to be in play with a SI on the MC that knows so much more of whats in play. And where does a virus comes from to force the Nerve Gear like that ? Specially since this seems like a SI who knew what he was doing ?

Oooh this looks super interesting. What sort of bonuses or supreme knowledge would a game dev have in SAO? And was the developers dying a regular part of the anime? It does make sense for the madman running the show to kill anyone with the keys to his kingdom
