Industrious - Chapter 36

I'll be doing a more detailed explanation of this shortly, but it boils down to being easier to tie into the chakra network if you're physically closer to the gate/organ you want to effect.

Maybe it’s for stable, long term stuff? All the examples given feel like exceptions rather than the rule.

Someone had an especially egregious case of butterfingers when reading the doc this time. Changes purged, though. Should be fine now.

I am sort of surprised that he has to apply the seal directly to his head. We have at least three examples of seals being written elsewhere and then applied to another surface. Two of which are applied to skin. The evil sealing seal Kakashi uses on Sasuke is written along the entire room in addition to characters written on his skin and the curse seal applied by Orochimaru, while fantastically complex, is placed with a bite. In addition to that we also have the 5 element seal placed by orochimaru on Naruto with a grab. It feels like he should have been able to apply to seal to a scroll and then transfer it to himself.
