This is probably one of the easiest choices in the whole quest, either letting Suzaku, who tends to disrupt nearly all of Lelouch's plans, coming close to us, or at least try keeping him away. But on the other hand, it still is Suzaku, he probably manages to ruin Lelouch's plans by simply existing to close to Lelouch. Also wouldn't a blockade be and act of war or at least of agression?

Tbh, even if we win the duel, it would still cause complications by holding Suzaku as a political prisoner. Imagine the headache that'll give Kaguya lol. What are the specifics of the duel btw, melee-only? Win by first blood?
