Yeah, when introduced in chapter 2 i remember having the impression that although I rationalized that he was under a lot of pressure he was not a good stand in for the character, i felt he was too 'stuck up', although I never imagined the obadiah reveal. The failed pull is worrying, but currently I am of the opinion that it is because he can not pull shattered info from inside his own dimension As for his possible excuse....well, that is obvious; he would say it is all Ezekiel fault because he didn't open the Library to the army, therefore they had to make the 'hard decision' to gamble on the Last Dogs plan

So portal tech allows him to go to earth now. Nice. Granted with the betrayal being so close to him it means there was an eye on him till he left planet, and his “friend” likely hindered him rather than help him set up a moon base. I think he is like 20-30 years away from the start of Mass Effect games. I wonder what the other races will think about humans given they almost nuked themselves out of existence. And that is just the history aspect of things. Humans will be more united by the time they meet other races, their tech will be much more advanced. And above all else they are a post scarcity society, which is a game changer. It would s not a situation the council has faced before.
