A Pansexual is someone who is willing to have sex with someone regardless of their gender or genitallia, but that doesnt have anything to do with romantic attraction which is what makes it different. A Demisexual is functionally asexual until they fall in love.

Ah that is very true. Now that makes me think. Can a person be more than one type. An example being pansexual and demisexual.

I'm sure it would, but there are also people who are perfectly fine having casual sex without developing feelings which is why the distinction is so important. its also important to note that gender doesn't play a role in being Demisexual

A demisexual is a person who does not experience sexual attraction unless they form a strong emotional connection with someone. It's more commonly seen in but by no means confined to romantic relationships. The term demisexual comes from the orientation being "halfway between" sexual and asexual.
