I appreciate you saying that, and I'm glad that you've enjoyed the story. I will say, the constant criticism is not something that I was prepared for when I began sharing the story. It can be really draining to have almost every chapter be picked apart. Some of it's helpful, and some people do phrase it in a way that it's clear their just interested in the story or talking about how they might help, but mostly it's just tiring to see. Comments like this one really help all of that though :) I'm really appreciative when someone takes the time to write out a nice comment and let me know what they think of the story. I have a lot of fun writing this and crafting the world, I'm just happy to have people who enjoy it, to share it with.

Caught up! Thank you for your writing so far. I’ve really enjoyed the slice-of-life feeling in many of these chapters. I feel like the mellowed out chapters tend to make the action ones far more impactful, something that will be very prominent once people are binging the book on amazon and not having to wait day(s) in between chapters. Though, the number of comments I've seen complaining about random mundane things is genuinely shocking. I'm here having a good time, and then I check the comments and see some random guy complaining about you describing cloth wrong. Again, genuinely shocked

Great catch! I think I'll actually be removing that title from the story as it continues to get put up on Royal Road and sent the manuscript in for publishing. I liked the title a lot, and would have given him an edge in the long run, but as I've developed the world, System, and overarching plot some more, I've realized that later down the road it would actually cause a pretty large discrepancy in a huge plot point. When I realized that, there just wasn't really a way to keep it, unless I just wanted to make it be another small stat boost. In a way, it also just felt like ANOTHER thing he gained in his time in the Rift. There was just so much there, I didn't want him to just have another "freebie" sort of powerup for late game story. This also adjusts the conversation that Eura and Alex had in Ch. 40 in a small way, since Eura points out to Alex that the title should be hidden. As I get the chapters fixed and edited in the next week or so, they will get updated here and I'll make a post to let Patrons know about the small changes, similar to how I did at the end of Book 1 with those few small changes.

I noticed a small discrepancy in Alex's character sheet. He seems to be missing his Mana Weaver title? Great chapter though! The training arc was not enough to build a stable foundation, so it's great to see him shoring up on his weaknesses.

Haha, you'll learn all about it before the week is over!

BUT WHAT WAS THE SKILL TOKEN ABOUT THOUGH!!

Thanks for the chapter! Eura really knows his stuff, giving Alex just the right technique. I hope we'll see him again soon 🙏

Beeees!

Ooh, non standard path to power that relies on willpower. That truly is just what Alex will need to stay relevent
