Oh yeah, and some significant supernatural world-building, too. Hope that part shows. :)
Believe it or not, I kinda cut this down a bit. My writing style leans toward "write too much in the first draft and then chop it down later." I think—kinda hope—that the action scene here will shrink again in the final draft, but it's one of those sexytimes that is also supposed to make a couple points, for both characters and plot. We'll see.
As always, I'm deeply grateful for everyone's support. I know things are rough out there for a lot of us. Maybe I said it here in a previous post, but at some point I realized that writing these stories is my way of helping people. This Patreon, in turn, helps me a LOT. Thank you for being here. Once again, I am wondering if old Dave will be chastened enough by danger to avoid jealousy or the arrogance he’d mistake for paternal pride. Although I must admit that the prospect of him getting verbally squashed is very entertaining.

Great stuff! You always do a fantastic job of threading the smuttiness with an emotional core. Some of the Lorelei stuff reminds of topics touched on in "Proper Focus", one of my favorite short stories. I'm excited to see what sexy slutty shenanigans Lorelei and Alex get up to in Vegas (while dealing with all the dramatic stakes too!)
