The Dark Hall - 50x60 (Post 1)
🕑 Added 2023-09-30 21:41:56 +0000 UTCI've had some feedback over the last year or so, and it seems like people really enjoy big maps. So with that in mind, I've been aiming at more expansive, multi-part maps. This one is 4 times the size of an "ordinary" map, and I planned on releasing it in two parts, but it really is designed to be one huge zone. So instead of chopping it up weirdly, I'm just giving it to you here. I hope you enjoy it!
In the heart of the ominous dungeon cavern, where time itself seemed to have withered away, the broken remnants of stone architecture crumbled like forgotten dreams. Piles of bones and skulls, a grim testament to the passage of countless souls, littered the uneven ground, their hollow sockets echoing with a haunting silence. At the cavern's Southern edge, a circular dais rises from the abyss, and upon it sits an imposing and terrifying sight: a giant statue of a skeletal figure, withered and dead, waiting before a bottomless well at its feet...

I like to have a stack of generic, single-level dungeon maps to pull out when I need to improvise a random bandits' lair or cultists' temple. This one is shooting straight to the top of the list!
