I just finished this novel for the first time—and although this might come off as kind of sappy or unusual—I swear a ton of this game's music feels profoundly nostalgic, like I've heard it a thousand times before. Maybe I'm just a sucker for warm solo piano/guitar arrangements, but I thought I’d mention it. I'm also currently playing through Repeat, and idk if Shiro realized but there are three songs that quote the melodies from My Favorite Things, Rito Village from BOTW, and Animal Crossing New Leaf's main theme. If you don't believe me, replay that game because trust me—they are there. The references are obviously just coincidences, but I thought it was too funny to ignore. As for the actual story, Temptation’s Ballad has some of the most rewarding character development I have ever read. Everyone’s background feels naturally intertwined with each other’s, and when one person changes, it really does affect everyone else around them. It's also really enjoyable how situations are carefully set up/hinted at and then later resolved. I especially liked how the fantasy DnD setting influenced this kind of storytelling. These were just some thoughts thrown together at 1 AM, but hopefully someone agrees with me. Keep up the great work Shiro. I'm really impressed!

Calder O'Shannessy, huh? With a name like that, I guess my habit of imagining Marrow speaking in a thick Irish accent was for good reason (if they are related, which I'm 90 percent sure of by now). He's actually... pretty damn hot. Just too bad he's enough of a snooty rich douche to put the Loreleis to shame. Clyde impresses me with how deep his character was becoming; I thought he'd be a minor character but he's getting the full backstory treatment and it's coming out great (and he shares Cole's talent for encouraging pep talks). He's such a great friend to Sidd. Hope they keep growing their friendship, and maybe resolve the sexual tension that became evident during training. Loving the chipper science lady with a not-so-subtle dark side so far. I feel like Cole should go to her lab, just to scope it out and see what connects him to it (starting to think this is why there's no mom in his lineage). Glad to see him finally starting to treat Hamish better, by the way. It's not much, but it's a start. The forgotten hero deserves some credit and fun. Hope things are improving for you lately, and that you're taking good care of yourself. Best of luck on your recovery, and take your time.

I absolutely loved this new build, it was a little shorter then I had hoped but it more then compensated for that with the amount of plot and information it was entwined with. Also I hope your feeling better and aren't pushing yourself too hard, we love this VN but we love you as a person even more and want you to be healthy physically and mentally.
