Temptation's Ballad 0.2.4 (May, 27th, 2022)
🕑 Added 2022-05-28 03:10:26 +0000 UTCAaaand as of this update, Chapter 3 of Temptation's Ballad is complete! Thank you everyone for sticking with me throughout this whole thing! I've been trying to keep all my scenes in TB feel less filler-ish and adjust the pacing to be more engaging, so let me know what y'all think!
Some of you might finish the update and go "Wow Shirokoi, there's a lot of camera movements in this update, how creative!"
Haha yes, that's totally a creative decision and not me being a complete idiot and drawing all the illustrated scenes in the wrong aspect ratio for this update and had to fix things by zooming in and whatnot. Yup. Totally intentional ;;;;;w;;;;;;;;;

am a little late to the Temptation's Ballad train but due to some unfortunate circumstances on my end i 've finally had the time to run though it. i've very impressed with it. Visuals and story are so so good, and i wait with baited breath for the next instalment. Despite Cole being a POS i do hope to see a redemption of a sort, he's been so shitty but his moments of Goodness i cant help but to want to cheer him on to do better and keep up with the good. also Hamish best yeen >_>

In the Renpy compiling options, there's only area pertaining to version number for Android and I'm pretty sure I've inputted things correctly in there. Sorry I can't be of more help, the more technical side of the engine is outside my expertise ;;w;; I can try making a 0.2.4.1 version tomorrow morning and see if that fixes things. I'll keep y'all updated when I do!

Is there a second version code field that only takes an integer and is specific to Android? I develop an Android app in Unity and the installer always gets pissy if I don't increment the bundle version code (integer, goes up by 1 every build) as well as the application version (e.g. 0.2.4). Maybe Ren'py doesn't have the bundle version code? Idk how many differences there are. I thought the bundle version code was something universal to .apk's but I could very well be wrong.

I've just checked and it looks like things are as they should be. The previous build vers. is 0.2.3 and this one is 0.2.4. If other people are having this issue, please let me know. If so, I can probably create a 0.2.4.1 version for Android and that might fix things.

The Android build won't install; it says it conflicts with an existing package (presumably the previous build). Did you increment the bundle version code in the Android settings for this build?
