Not to worry dear friend, the Main Character didn't ignore everything and the scene does have its consequences. However, I wanted it to take a few moments for what the MC saw to sink in. I mean, he was in a daze when he returned from the memory. He'll definitely act on what information he got! You'll see how in the next update :)

Ah, I understand that the lewd scene was probably a bit sudden, but I figured it'd be a little treat for people who like Samuel's character. It's completely optional after all, so I like think of it as a fun little jaunt while cruising your way through Owen's route~ qwq

MC: "Hey Samuel, I know we've known each other less than 24 hours but I think you're really good looking so lets make a mess on this table" Samuel: "sure kid sounds like fun". Not that the scene wasn't enjoyable it just didn't make a whole lot of sense considering the circumstances, of course given that the alternative is a really awkward series of random questions/comments I may just be overthinking things, their relationship is obviously not normal so I'll just go with it. That said this was a fun update and informative there is defiantly more to this situation than what is apparent on the surface I can't wait to see what's next.

Another thing about the flashback sequence, the protagonist states he's not sure of what he has seen, but to anyone who has paid attention to what has been said during the flashback sequence, it's just blatantly obvious he didn't shoot Owen's mom nor completed the contract, and the reason why is said in his thoughts. The MC should know why, but he doesn't seem to. Plus, if Samuel had shot her, Owen would've never been born. At the very least, MC should know Samuel had no intention of killing her for the contract, unless (theory) he "helped" Owen's mom and ended her suffering because of her illness (but that would be years later, I dunno if the contract would be still valid, so I still assume it would be for a selfless reason). If the MC only has to know the bare bones of what happened, the best would be to shorten the text to make it more vague and/or blur the picture if possible, or just use pictures depicting how hesitant he was to pull the trigger without any dialogue, cause here it's like the MC should have gathered a lot of informations but completely ignored 90% of what was happening before his eyes.

I feel like shit for Samuel, I wish there was an option like "no bullshit, be honest and ask him", that would've probably made things easier if he knew why Owen can't come back. From the evidence we got, we can assume he has changed for the best. Hope we can eventually seek for forgiveness.

I gotta say the best part of this whole update was the scene where the mc, jenny, and Phillip were on the motorcycle speeding past Owen. I absolutely lost it then. XD
