Announcement Regarding Repeat Development
🕑 Added 2017-07-30 21:35:55 +0000 UTC Alrighty, so let's start off with an explanation. In my development notes/scripts, all the routes in Repeat (except for Jinny's) are split into Part A and Part B.I plan to use the upcoming months to complete the entirety of Sissel's route Part A in one go. This is because I feel like the monthly updates have caused me to subconsciously chop up the pieces of Repeat's story into episode-like segments that, while relatively entertaining, don't exactly fit together into the overarching narrative as well as I'd like.
The opposite of this happened while working on the last Owen's route update, where I had an extra few weeks to polish the writing thanks to my trip to China. In that extra time, I felt like I was finally able to achieve the emotional high-points I was striving for without feeling like I was weighing the story down with filler. It was one of the few updates I felt legitimately proud of in the past year. I sincerely want to continue this trend in quality, which is why I'm planning to complete Sissel's route Part A in one fell swoop.
The bad news is that you guys will have to wait longer for the next update. Some of you may even discontinue your Patreon support due to the long lull in content. I don't blame you if you do. However, I want to ensure that the writing in Repeat is the best that I'm capable of, and this is the method I feel is necessary in order to achieve it.
Of course, I won't be completely silent over the new few months. Every few weeks or so, I'll make a few progress report posts regarding the development and status of the game. And of course, I'll try and keep those Repeat comic pages coming in the meantime.
Anywho, I thank you all for the support and hopefully I'll see y'all in the near-future with a completed Sissel Route: Part A!

I think it's a good planning for the story... I have a curiosity, on Jinny's route will there be romance? I wouldn't be against it, nor would I expect there were sexual scenes for obvious reasons (Medical reasons), besides that Jinny is asexual (You drew Jinny with the asexuality flag on gay pride day and Euca with the homosexual flag). Nor am I against it if it is a route of pure friendship... Now I have no idea what you plan but I am sure I will like it.

This is that one update that really makes me wish I had the money to donate but I don't so I guess I'll just leave a quote from my grand book of quotes. "When things are looking down for you, just lay on the floor, it will always make you look straight up or to the side but never down."
I have to say I really love Repeat. I can only play it on my phone and I only got it with my friends hotspot, but I cant complain the game is still on my phone. The story really grabs me and I could not stop playing. I've always wanted to be good enough to have something like this but I cant draw and I can barely write so it makes it hard to have Alic in anything where he will get recognized. that's my fursona btw. I wish I could help by sending some money because of course I would, but im sadly in jobcorps so with what little money I have I struggle to even keep my phone turned on. sorry to bug you just a fan with big dreams, anyways keep up the good work i love it and hope to see more

thanks for the update. the only way I would discontinue supporting you is if something dire came up.. Your Visual Novel was my first one to try and get hooked by and i want to see it to the end. Writing takes time to keep the audience captivated and I want to see it through to the end and I can only give you the best of luck in achieving what you plan to do as stated above!

Repeat is such a wonderful visual novel and I'm INCREDIBLY excited for new content with sissel, in comic or VN form! It looks like a lot of us are happy to support you through your new systen for updating. Keep up the great work!
Thanks for everything you've done so far ... if patreon gave a PaySafecard option , i would give you some money , but this is not there yet i guess ... Repeat is one of the best furry Visual novels out there in my opinion .

Hoo boy, that's quite an announcement. But if that's the way you work best, then that's the way it shall be, and I see no reason not to support you. In any case, great to hear you're still making this as well as you can, and I look forward to the comic. Also, Jinny has her own route now? I don't recall you mentioning that before.

I wouldn't dream of dropping my pledge with you. I've always been in full support of Repeat and your aspirations and that wouldn't change now. You need to go with whatever creative process works for you and gets the very best out of you. Do what feels right and the rest will follow, and we'll definitely understand. :3 And naturally I'll continue to bug you on social media so there is that, hehe. Have a good one!

I don't see why people would stop pledging. So long as you post a status update every month telling us how things are going and showing off a picture of two, I don't see any issues.

This sounds like a good way to approach the story so do what you have to. And you're correct there are probably some people who would pull their support for lack of frequent updates, personally I look at it that I am supporting a person not a project so I'll stick around for the long haul, I'm sure others will too.
