I've been planning to post development blogs on my Patreon every two weeks so I can keep y'all in the know, but real-life kept getting in the way. But hey, I'm doing it now! Better late than never, am I right? ;;w;;/
Progress so far:
So far in February, I've completed a total of 5 new character sprites, 3 for Sissel and 2 for Hershel. As you can probably guess, the next update is going to be featuring Sissel's route again.
As for the writing, it's been going rather slow unfortunately. It's currently midterm season here at my university so I'm pretty much spending every waking moment stressing about my next assignment (Not to mention how February is a rather short month :/) . But worry not! I've already written around 10 pages for the next update with more coming, and progress is going pretty smoothly. However, due to some events and real-life obligations going on in the coming weeks, Repeat 0.5.7 is going to be released on the week of March 5th, which is about a week's delay. Sorry about that guys! qwq
Another announcement is that I've finally discovered time in my hectic schedule to sketch/make progress on the Repeat comic! i.e. I took my portable tablet into my lecture classes and drew furry art while my professor rambled for 4 hours. My friends were giving me the "look" when they saw furry shit on my screen. The things I do for you guys >:U Anywho, while progress will be slow, the Repeat comic is back in the oven!
Plans for future updates:
I know a lot of you have been asking for more content for Phillip's route, and I'm happy to say that the outline for the first few days of his route is complete! The only issue is that it require a lot of new art, especially for a new character that'll be introduced, which means it'll take a bit of time to make while I'm juggling Sissel's route at the moment. I think you can all expect the first day of Phillip's route to be adding alongside a Sissel update sometime in Repeat 0.6.0. I'll be sure to keep ya'll posted with concept art and news!
And last but not least, I'm planning to go back to the beginning of Repeat and rewrite a few scenes, as well as adding art to a few character introductions. In the beginning of Repeat, readers don't really get the impression that there'll be a lot of CG art added to accompany the story, so I want to fix that. That rainbow-Owen drawing that you've seen floating around my social media will be used in this. There are also a fair few plotholes hanging about that I need to fix (ex. Phillip mentioning his "parents" when he only has a single mom). And simply put, there are a few scenes that I feel are just plain boring and need a bit of rewriting.
One more announcement! I'll be attending the Anthro New England convention this weekend! I'm a social wreck at large events like this, but I hope to see some of you there! If you spot an idiot wearing this badge, feel free to say hi! :D
Alrighty, let me know what you guys think and if you have any concerns! Also, what do you think about the new Development Blog format? Should I make more of these in the future? Anything in particular you want to be added in the blogs? I may not reply to everything, but I do read everything you guys send to me, so any feedback is appreciated!

School and the Repeat story and the artwork and the comic? You are truly an amazing furson. ;p It's wonderful to receive updates, even if it's just to let us know your alive and kicking! That's ~always~ good news! <3 So, yes, a development blog would be enjoyable! Just don't wear yourself out, please! School first, Repeat second, Life third! (And I'm kidding about the order) ;) I would have loved to be able to attend the convention and meet you in person, but alas! Whereas I've stayed awake for longer before, I don't think I could survive a 24-hour drive, attend the convention and then turn around and drive back home before work on Monday. Not too mention, like you, I'm a social wreck. I dislike large crowds, though I love hockey games! I guess because I feel like there's something else all those people are watching besides myself. :o Have fun at the convention and just imagine all of us unable to attend, greeting you warmly from thousands of miles away! Keep up the great work and I look forward to the updates; and the story updates! xD

Glad to see some new sprites are being added (Sissel looks like he's lecturing me about baking or something in that second one). And I'll have to echo the previous commenters in saying that you don't need to worry about taking too long. I couldn't imagine juggling my university major and an internship with a visual novel of this quality. Quite a pleasant surprise to see that you're starting to do development updates, and it looks really well done so far. Looks pretty well-rounded and straightforward; I can't think of anything in particular that could be added. Drawing showcases, storyline additions, and life updates seem like the way to go. I definitely look forward to the Phillip route, and to the changes to the storyline. I see Owen is looking particularly fabulous. (And you drew furry stuff in the middle of your lecture? You really are shameless :P). Lastly, I didn't realize you had a fursona, but he's looking good. Hope you enjoy the convention. (I need a mug like that for exam period)

Glad to hear that things are still going! <3 I really want to know how Owen's and Phillip's Story will go. (Especially Owen, since that Choice you could make as you visited him in the Gym felt really strong, atleast i hope it is!) As always, take your Time. Just keep us informed and we will support you, no matter what! :D

I'll begin with this, for being a one man army you've made a remarkable amount of progress on this project in a fairly short amount of time. They are other furry VN's (none that need mentioned by name though other's probably know to which I'm referring) that have entire teams working on them that can't produce this kind of quality and quantity of content on a regular basis. So try not to feel like you're not doing enough, you're only human after all. We'll understand that life can get in the way and there are only so many hours in the day. For myself I can say I have no objection to waiting a bit longer for the update, history has shown that it'll be worth the wait. I look forward to seeing more of the comic as well, it is quite an entertaining read. I wish you luck with school and life in general, keep up the good work.

School can be a royal pain in the ass, and not the good kind either. It's great to see that you're keeping us all in the loop as often as you can with as much info as you can. I have less than no idea what goes into making projects and games and art like this, so I can't offer much in the way of suggestions on how things should be handled, but I'm confident in your skills! You're doing great Shirokoi, keep it up! PS: Damn you for making me ogle a sticker. SO many mental images XD
