I like the new sprite!

This is old but I still wanted to share my opinion since it hasn't happened yet. The sleek look of his original sprite fits better -- I love the fact you're using eyebrows, but they look very blocky. Most are arched and dont look like rectangles. It looks alright, but I think it would look so much better if it was slightly less prominent.

I think the old Sissel's sprite is already suit his character

But he wasn't starving skinny, that would look much different. That and it sounds like he's at least been eating for a bit. Either way he was just way to skinny because real bodies have mass to them. It's not just more meat on his bones but his frame is bigger. People can like way to skinny designs without justifying it, it's a common enough thing in anime and art, but I dislike it. Thus why I said above I like the new one a lot more.

I mean. The reason I feel the 'way too skinny' sprite is better than this new one where he has more muscle mass is because it kinda suits him more? I mean if you think about it, he's a street orphan that was likely half-starved before getting into the school. Of course he'd be way too thin. (On a somewhat unrelated note, this reminds me that at some point I kinda wanna commision Shirokoi to draw a rabbit type form for my sona XD)

It seems a lot of people preferred 'way too skinny' Sissel but I like the new sprite a lot more, personally. Although the hair kinda looks a little overly messy going everywhere IMO. And in case the sprite isn't just a WIP I feel I should point out you've forgotten his hip tattoo. I admit I wasn't originally all that into Sissel but the more he's updated the more I'm feelin' his route. Still prefer Owen but with a sprite update like that Sissel's a close second!

Mama Lian looks great. The only art I don't like is the new art of the Remnant. I know that's a really hard creature to portray, but I think the best thing you've done in the art so far is make it look like a thing that should not exist--a nightmare. Putting the eyes and mouth in totally wrong places (or leaving them out) is part of how you achieved that effect. This art looks too much like a gory movie monster with a joker grin.

I can see the anatomical improvements in your new Sissel sprite and he looks great, but I think the (more realistic) smaller and narrower eyes make Sissel seem less vulnerable, older, and more mature than he seems in the VN. You also might want to make him just a little bit skinnier, since we know he has trouble eating regularly and is also implied to still have some adolescent gangliness.

In all honesty, whenever you throw in a scene with the remnant in it, that's more than enough to creep me out, and the sprite I'm seeing doesn't reassure me at all xD As for Sissel's sprite, I think his head was fine as it used to be. Simpler, aye, but that adds to the charm of a visual novel, in my honest opinion. Your choice, though, both sprites are well drawn. I just prefer the old sprite with thin eyebrows and big eyes :)

I like both artworks of Sissel. I mean, yes, I'm attached to the old sprite because that is what I've seen as I've read through the story many, many times. But I don't think it would take me long to warm up to the new sprite. :) I'm already scared and excited at the same time! Just as long as you don't give me a myocardial infarction. <3

Prefer the old sprite. I think it's perfect the way it is. Sissel has always been this cute, slim, adorable kind of guy. With the new sprite he looks buffer and older, Idk. Either way, really looking forward to the next update. Can't wait to see more from you. ^^

I seriously cant wait for philips route. When you first meat him he plays rather coy hiding what i take is his real personality, it is a very survere change witch is what caught my attention(also does not try to show off sprite is perfect) he has a sense of mystery to him

Thank you for the feedback! I'll definitely tweak the sprite to capture Sissel's character more. Unfortunately, I definitely will not be keeping the old design because improvements must be made, and reverting will simply halt progress. The best thing you can do is help point out problems or suggestions, and I will work in improving them! :)

Arh... The new design of sissel makes him less adorable. Less protection needy. I liked the way he was lost by his anger how it lead him into trouble he couldn't manage especially because he was thin and a little bit "famished" i would say. i loved his big eyes on an innocent face. Im sorry but the new sissel doesn't fit with his personnality and his story... he doesn't look like he needs any help to get out of trouble this way. BUT , i like the way it's relationship with us can get him to feel better, maybe to eat more and take care of himself, so i wouldn't mind if there was, somewhere in the game, a smooth transition between his two states. And if you had to keep only one design please keep the first one he was so fit for his role, and so desperatly needing our love.

Living without an AC can be a nightmare! Mine broke down around a month ago it was hell (especially because of Texas heat!). Hope it gets fixed soon! Also, good luck on Sissel's route and the art! I'm really excited for them!
