Stone Molt: One-Sided.
🕑 Added 2021-09-20 20:01:00 +0000 UTCGreetings All!
Finally getting a chance to breathe and starting to get these backlog submitted.
Submitted Item Week! This one is from Alphonse. The submittals are open to everyone via discord, and voted on by Patrons: Smiter’s and Up. This was a really interesting idea that took me forever to crack in my style, the damage and weight against a disastrous effect. I really enjoyed figuring it out. I am doing better today energy wise but keeping it short and sweet until then.
I really hope you enjoy it, and should be catching up on this week shortly.
Updates: Minor Texture Tweak.
I hope you enjoy this one! Truly, as always and ever sincerely, Thank You.

Description:
This choker shares many characteristics with a grommet, holding several sections of angular stone over scaled leather. Tightened about the neck, it offers striking visuals and distinct advantages. Fashioned from basilisk leather and imbued sandstone, it grants a host of defenses… at a cost.
Tabs:
- This item has 3 Charges, and it regains All expended charges daily at Dawn.
- Stone Barrier: 1 Charge - While worn, as a Bonus Action the user can cast the Stoneskin spell targeting itself. When cast in this way, the spell doesn't require concentration, and it lasts for 1 hour or until the user is incapacitated or ends the spell early as a Bonus Action.
- At the start of each of the user's turns for the duration, the user takes 1d6 acid damage.
- If the user takes an amount of damage from this effect equal to its level or higher, it must make a DC:14 Constitution saving throw at the end of its turn. On a Failed Save, the user is restrained as its flesh begins to harden and they can no longer willfully end the spell.
- Unless the choker is removed from the user with a successful DC:14 Strength check, the user must make another DC:14 Constitution saving throw at the end of its next turn. On a Failed Save, the user is petrified until freed by the Greater Restoration spell or other magic.
- While worn, the user can spend a Bonus Action to invoke or dismiss the stoneskin spell targeting themselves and without the requirement of concentration.
- At the end of each round this effect is used, the user takes 1d4 acid damage.
- If the user takes over their level in damage while the spell is activated, at the end of their next turn, the user must make a DC:14 Constitution Saving throw. On a Failed Save, the user begins to magically turn to stone and is restrained.
- Upon Restraint, if the choker is not removed from the user, at the end of their next turn they must make another DC:14 Constitution Saving Throw. On a Failed Save, the user is petrified until freed by the greater restoration spell or other magic.
