Another shield! Gosh, I had been putting it off. If I could, I would just make shields for an entire month to get all of the ideas out of my head.
I adore shields, this while it might look like it's from the Silverhawks cartoon of my youth, is inspired by a flower brooch. I really enjoyed the idea of it as a layered shield, capable of reflecting emotions and images, building it up from there.

Description:
This shield, like its namesake, is crafted from layered silver. This layered metal design is what gives it the appearance of an opening bloom, giving the silver pieces a semblance to petals. A polished amethyst adrons its center with small emeralds placed near the edge of each petal. The entire surface is polished to a shining gleam, capable of use as a metallic mirror.
Tabs:
- While holding this Shield, the user gains a +2 bonus to Armor Class. This is in addition to the Shield’s normal bonus to AC.
- This Shield holds a number of charges equal to the User's Proficiency Bonus, it regains all expended charges at Dawn. These charges can be used in the following ways.
- Sooth Temperaments: 1 Charge - As an Action, the user is able to cast the Calm Emotions spell from the shield at a DC:16 for targeted creatures.
- True Reflection: 1 Charge - As a Reaction to the user being hit by a melee attack, the user can add their Charisma Modifier to their AC against Melee Attacks until the start of their next turn as the attacker’s image is warped and reflected in the surface of the shield.
