I actually had a friend this was based on, maybe you're similar. She took me to see the live action remake of Beauty and the Beast. I'm a tiny bit of a film snob but by the end, I was crying and she wasn't. Even thought she talked loudly through the first half, which I found mortifying. And thank you :)
