Most sexual fantasies involve power dynamics in some way. My theory - because humans are inherently political and social beings who live in hierarchical societies of various types, it's natural that power dynamics based on those things would factor into our sex lives. Another theory - being controlled is sexy because life is hard and deep down, a lot of us wish that someone strong and trustworthy would just take over and make it easy for us. We might not literally want that - but as a fantasy concept, it's appealing.
