Today I attended a funeral for the kindest, most selfless woman today. She truly changed my life and attending her service helped me realize I haven’t been living and loving life as much as she did. I felt inspired to share this message with you and help remind you all to enjoy this life.
Life can be so rough at times, I know. But the one thing we always have control over is how we respond to those hard moments. I believe in you. Please believe in yourself. You are stronger than you realize and I know you can overcome anything!!!

This post really hit for me. I don’t like talking about it much, but I was diagnosed with cancer in September. Thankfully it was a pretty treatable one. Barring any surprises I should be finished with chemo and officially in remission in early February. When I say it’s been a life altering experience I’m really underselling it. It’s crazy what being faced with our mortality does to our brains. It’s really made me realize how important it is to just enjoy every second that we’re given.
