Well thank you for that encouraging remark! Sometimes I take my stories (both the ones I read and write) a little too seriously. I feel like having alternate endings can kind of take away from the suspense of disbelief. You only get one shot to make a first impression, lol! Also from a practical perspective, it can be difficult to revise when you publish to sites and then need to get someone else to update your revision, and there is some pressure not to do that too much.

I think endings can always be changed or revised down the line. I don't have an issue with writers doing that - it's happened lots of times. It's a great series, very interested to see where it goes, both now and possibly in the future?

Thanks for the feedback! I am little concerned, since I intended to finish this story with the next chapter and a brief epilogue, and it seems like a lot of people want this one to go on a bit longer than that. I am always a little nervous about my endings as I don't always feel that I have done them well in the past. I will be anxious for everyone's take on it!
