So... about Resistance 2, Chapter 8...
🕑 Added 2019-04-04 18:54:06 +0000 UTCAs this story winds down, I wanted to ask what you all thought about Chapter 8? I meant to ask in the comments of that post, but I suppose here is as good a place as any.
The main question I had was how did everyone felt about the way Robert came to be infected? It's been a long time coming, and in the end, it wasn't something he was able to explicitly choose or reject, which I know at least a few people felt robbed him of some agency.
But for me, it also felt more real, in that life isn't always full of clean, measured decisions and things sort of just happen and we're left to deal with it however we can. Maybe it says something about my own nihilistic view of the world. *shrug*
Anyway, curious to hear thoughts and opinions if anyone feel like sharing!

I like that Christine did it out of love. She probably could have infected him a dozen times over whenever he was vulnerable but she didn't, even though she (and everyone else) really wanted to.
