Why wouldn't Tina want to become just like her mom? i mean she seems to want that, If not why would she sneak back to see that nice Dr Cooper later that evening. i think her sister is just a buzzkill.

that’ll all be covered next chapter! wanted Ch.2 to focus entirely on Tina.

To me, the chapter feels like it is missing some of the details from the first chapter. There is just a passing mention of Emily, and no sign that Emily is getting more worried about Tina's transformation and trying to stop it (even if Emily didn't know that Tina was seeing Dr. Cooper, she would have been on the lookout for changes in behavior and if Tina's friends are noticing her acting differently than you would think Emily would). Always possible Emily is being dealt with by Dr. Cooper via some other method, but her omission in the second chapter after being so central in the first stands out
