I keep alternating between the decision to wrap things up and finish the story with the upcoming Part Six or not. i think there’s pros and cons to each.
curious what you all think about it. finish the story now or keep it going a little longer? either way we’ll have a new chapter soon.

As a writer I am the worst person to ask. All my storylines are 10+ chapters. As a reader it should be long enough to be satisfying but not long enough that you overstay your welcome

if I thought it’d feel forced I wouldn’t continue but I think there’s easily more story that could be told. but i also see the benefit in ending early. it’s a tough one

Good story is like a good bowel movement - it’s only truly satisfying after it ends. No need to prolong it by force.
