This video is going out to the world tomorrow, so here's your early and ad free version!
This is the first episode in a new series I'll be releasing throughout 2025 where I break down the indie game production pipeline - from ideation through prototyping, production, and so on.
This is the penultimate draft so there's a little more to change before final release - we're currently having a debate on the Discord about whether games really do need win states and lose states - so lemme know if you have any feedback!
Cheers

So far the Discord has avoided trying to define what a 'genre' is but knowing our weaknesses, it's only a matter of time

Fun fact: I just recently listened to an episode of the great podcast "Stay Forever" where they talk about old games (it's German). In this episode they discussed Pikmin and I learned that Shigeru Myamoto only joined the game in a later state. He even publicly admitted the story about "I got inspired by watching ants" was only marketing bla bla and never true.
