310 The Avocado Guild

Today I bring you a story which can be as serious as you want, but I was really thinking in a light-hearted, over-the-top, and fun adventure. In this adventure, the son of the kind was very sick from avocado allergy and the man decided to outlaw all avocados!
However, as it often happens, prohibition caused the demand to skyrocket and many criminal cells shifted their focus to the green gold. There are now complicated smuggling operations to satisfy the increasing demand of avocados. Everyone wants them, even politicians and the guards buy them secretly. The City Watch Captain is a man loyal to the law and he wishes to enforce it despite his own urges to eat avocado toast. So, he decided to hire mercenaries he can trust more than his own men who are already in the smugglers' payroll. A team of valiant adventurers must find the hideout of the largest criminal group and try to stop them. What will they do when the criminal mastermind offers to triple their pay if they change sides?

Sure thing Bruce. I too prefer more serious story lines but I do stuff like this from time to time to rest and recharge. Now htat you mention that, I must come up with something grand for april's fools.

IMHO, these are cool as an occasional thing. I prefer a much more serious theme. Seeing that you're getting into the lighter side of adventure design I hope to see a really good one for April Fool's day...LOL
