Game play theater menu mockup

Since the game is a little bit of a slice of life, my suggestion was to use a "phone" as the main menu. A standard "press menu and leave the game." Would break from the emersion of the game. The game menus would be part of the gameplay as well as another way to interact with the characters too.
Do let me know what you think. I value your feed back and thoughts. I don't want to pull a No Man's Sky and say that the game has a ton of features. So, I'll just show progress and development speak for itself.

Besides one grammar issue of "you're guy" instead of "you're the guy", this doesn't really look bad.

All I can say for now is that it's a dating sim. but, yeah their expressions would change with interactions, those were drawn for the mockup example. I'll post more game emotes/poses for Nissah by next week as well as something Christmas-related.

So what is the game closer to gameplay wise? A visual novel? A dating sim? The interaction and how the UI look slick (at least if the character sprite expressions change) but its kinda hard to determine what you actually do in the game? Woo the girls and build relationships? Will there be status checks that need to be met? Minigames to complete? Overall looks promising but id like to know what you actually do.
