I have several plans for videos this month :)
I've been wanting to explore "lo fi" video production for a while since I really tend to gravitate towards lo-fi when I'm watching asmr videos myself. The lower quality is really effective at triggering asmr for me. So I purchased an old camera from ebay for very cheap to see if it would work out.
Unfortunaateelly, the audio was absolutely terrible and the video I recorded is completely unusable! >_< So I plan on trying again with my "worst" personal camera: Canon M10. Which I know doesn't have that bad of audio quality lol. If you know any older video cameras that have decent enough audio quality let me know :)
Otherwise, I'm considering some simpler videos for this month, such as another magazine video, and a makeup roleplay.
The big project for this month is going to be a minimal talking mix role play. I had a viewer request a video with less talking, so I will be incorporating that aspect into one of my longer video productions for this month. I don't have anything setup for it yet but I will post pictures when I do.

hmm yes im sure i could do that in my editing software. though that's not really what i'm going for! its more about finding the right microphone/on-camera microphone that gives the best creamy lo-fi audio :)

Isn't there an ap you could run the footage through to make it look old, while still having the high quality original

You could use your cellphone camera for lowfi, and upload in 360p quality, maybe? I'm excited for the new videos coming out btw :)

Thanks for going to such lengths to produce an authentic lo-fi video. You know at one time that camera was considered hi-fi o_o

Lo-fi makes me think the 80ies, MIami Vice asmr here we go! But... less talking? Each to their own of course but I'd be in the opposite camp.

Sorry the camera didn't work out, dude. Definitely would like to see what you can do with lo-fi style ASMR.
