I kinda prefer the characters the way they are now, Chelsea remembering her past as a frat boy while still being a super girly girl now is actually adorable

Sorry to toss it back to you, but I think you should go with whichever option you feel you like better. After all, if the author isn’t enjoying telling the story, it’s not worth telling. I think what it boils down to is how much power/agency over the wish you think the genie should have. Like, there is no doubt in my mind that if he’s capable of it, the genie would literally copy/paste generic harem anime archetypes on the guys/girls, but is he able to or is he only able to make due with the available surrounding material/setting, therefore only able to generate characters that would be more natural to the setting. It also depends on how much their male past affects their current situation. Like do they remember and are still essentially their male selves just with new feminine knowledge, desires, and hobbies? Or are they wholesale the characters they’ve now become? Again, maybe I’m being wishy-washy but I believe you should go with whatever story calls to you the most.

I think Chelsea works well this way tbh. Especially enjoy how she's still proud of things she did when she was still male. Love seeing TG Harem pop up again. It was the first work you did that I ever saw so I'm always happy to see it.

I would honestly love to just see all the characters again, this new angle of them being able to remember but still being fine with the change is also kind of interesting to me. Like, them being amazed and liking the changes but still being them in some way is kind of attractive in its own way
