Lmao It kind of isn't. It just gives that impression to the ones that shift because THEIR memories change - people that weren't transformed still remember the older selves. You can see it on the Snape story posted here where Harry has no idea who this Dracia girl is (despite she acting like she knows him).

Yes and no. Yes she should get her memories as Draco back, but they should be recontextualized as Dracia, the Slytherin girl that wanted to have Harry's children from the first moment she met him on in Diagon Alley.
