Take the time you need to care for your health first. That's a legitimate reason that you shouldn't need to feel bad about. For allergies, if you are in the market for an air purifier, the Levoit Core 600S (the $300 rectangular shaped one) is a good pick. It's not exactly cheap, but it's noticeably effective and covers a good amount of space. If the allergies are getting worse or really getting in the way of your day-to-day, then it might be a worthwhile investment. Hope you feel better soon.

Hope you feel better and are able to keep your new fluffballs! Also an unsolicited suggestion, if it's viable for you and you haven't tried it yet. Urgent care clinics (in the US anyways) can be great. They might be able to help you treat symptoms with a same day appointment although probably not a replacement for seeing a primary care doctor / specialist.
