Another upcoming games list for November! π
1- Oathbreaker Chapter 6 ETA: Mid November
It's not exactly going to be a mega chapter, but there will be a lot of CGs for sure. I'm also adding extra romance content (or trying to) this chapter, because the season finale will be... you know. Messy.
2- Manga Creator Romance: Page 5 (BxB NSFW π₯) ETA: Mid/Late November
I will receive the artwork file around mid November and will finish it as soon as I'm done with OB chapter 6.
3- Teasing Zander Mini game (NSFW π₯) ETA: Mid/Late November
Steamy times with Zander in the library. π The Library was PrinceOfRedroses's idea and it's perfect for Zander!
4- Pichi's Yummy Avatar Creator ETA: Late November
We will be able to create a character eating in a cafe, diner, bakery etc. Dress up both the character and the environment! (delicious food on the table, books, laptops etc)
Ascension update: We are working very hard. The first three characters from the tavern scene are already complete!
Although I will stick to the same story, I will be adding more content, sub quests, lore info, characters etc.
So, instead of having 3 slightly long games(chapters), I will have episodes within each chapter.
Chapter 1 (The camp, the cave, Northcliff ) will have around 3 to 5 episodes. So that characters will get to know each other in time and there won't be rushed romance/friendship like the original version.
And there will be combat. Actual combat mechanics. Won't be super difficult, I'm %100 for entertainment, but it will be done for more immersion. (And to have a reason to play more badass music!)
I will release a demo to Shypaca and beyond tiers half way through episode 1, so you can see how it's working out.
I'm going to be trying a new engine/system, so I know it will surprise many of you. But please trust me, it feels so so right to go this way with Ascension.
Can't wait to start animating! I'll keep you updated.
I'm also working on a new layout for rinmarugames.com. As some of you may have guessed (or know), I'm no longer making dress up games.
After the death of Adobe Flash in 2020, I will mainly focus on story games, and so will rinmarugames.com.
Which is why I will be releasing a new layout come new year, and officially announce this change. (The old games will be preserved on the website until December 2020. After that they will be deleted.)
I will also convert the most loved dress up games (mega anime avatar creator, couple creator etc.) into standalone desktop applications and release them for free. So, please don't worry about losing your favorite games. I will do my best to make it as painless a change as possible!
I know many of you want me to keep creating dress up games, but I've been making them for over 10 years and I feel it's the right time for me to move on. Kind of like a retirement?
There are really awesome dress up game websites like DollDivine, Azaleasdolls, Missangest, Dressupgames, Candy's World, Meiker.io, picrew etc.
(Especially Meiker.io where you can create your own dress up games with 0 code!)
So, I'm happy knowing this change won't be a great loss.

I really love their artwork too!!! Here is a fun idea: You can commission Veggiestudio for a dress up game artwork and turn it into a dress up game by using meiker.io ! I love all of this!! But quick question, will rinmarugames.com still be operational? Or will the site be taken down? Cuz those avatar and manga creators are my go too for testing character consepts

Im super excited for Ascension!!! It was the first of your VNs I played and i loved it. Im sure you've mentioned this in a previous update, but I cant find it. Were you working on a 'Mega avatar creator' or am I mixing things up. I started on Rinmaru years ago for the dress up games, and while ill miss it Im super happy for you growing and moving to things you enjoy.

Oh my! That's a lot of stuff going on. I don't think it will be painful, because like you said we have other great sites where we can play. I'ts just naturally to move on at some point. We all have to... Sometimes i wonder if you have any freetime at all and how you spend it. At the moment I have again increased panic and anxiety attacks. That may sound weird, but your games will help me concentrate and distract myself! It gives me the savety to know that i don't trigger another attack. So I really appreciate your hard work! I hope you take care of yourself and take enough free time. Wow, got more serious than I thought. Anyways, I love youβ£οΈ

Manga creators will definitely continue on Patreon as long as the patrons want them. Pichi is also going to be doing dress up games here on Patreon. :) The announcement is more about rinmarugames dress up games. It will continue to be a patreon benefit. :)

speaking of the Manga Creator pages though, don't they sort of count as dress up games? So will those continue then or will they too kinda slow down before retiring? I mean I'm totally excited about the story based games for sure but yeah had this sudden thought so curious
