It was a long time plan of mine to make a mother or a mother-like character because the media seems to think that only a dad can keep on being a "person" besides their parent persona. So, we have these interesting and complex dad(or dad-like) characters, whereas mothers are either dead (she was a saint) or a villain with no real love or attachment to the child. I wasn't sure how I was going to succeed in making a believable and loving mother/daughter dynamic without messing up Thyia's story (because it's still her story), so I'm really happy to hear you are enjoying it! 😍😍😍

Prince has the sweetest art style for children omg. Imp is so precious here! (And so is the Ashae!) Not to mention Thiya being as gorgeous as always. I'm gonna be a little sappy here and say thank you again for the characters that you write. It's the reason I have been a fan for so long (Born in the last century! Old!) but more than anything it's these flawed, relatable women protagonists. And as a mom, Thiya is hitting me particularly hard in the feels. She's a mom, she'll do anything for her child, but she's also still a person, with all the warts and scars. And that's so very very refreshing to see in any media. She's struggling. But that's the part that's the most important to me. So thank you. ❤️
