Classic Route - Night III Part One & Kerach Dynamics
🕑 Added 2025-06-06 03:00:56 +0000 UTCI was going to wait until tomorrow night but this seemed like a good place to leave Classic Route for now. Similar to Dark Maiden, this update adds nine new passages and around an additional 2,500 words. Not huge, but it adds a good foundation for what's to come, establishing new pieces of the MC's backstory, some lore, and further expanding her dynamic with Serax. There are also multiple opportunities for stat changes. Also you meet Kerach.
This night is when you'll start to see passage tailoring, meaning your passages will begin to change depending on your dominant personality traits. This will begin to happen more and more as the prelude advances, until you finally settle into your true nature.
You'll need to start a new game if this is your first time playing Classic Route since the profile update.
Just making that real big so you don't miss it. The new profile system will not work if you try to use your old save game.
I will be continuing Classic Route next week. Right now I plan on rotating every 2 - 3 days, ensuring that there's new content in each route every week. Let me know if this setup works for you guys. I love flinging new content out every couple of days and getting the frequent feedback so I know what to adjust, however it's important to me that updates feel satisfying and not like little crumbs.
I'll be back on Saturday with a Wyransith update. I'll be compiling all the words we've learned so far into an alphabetized spreadsheet for you and also discussing verb conjugation. Sunday there will be a Fated Mates update.

I think this will finally help me to remember it's "Kindred" and not "Kindered." Idk why I always misspell that word. Also, I don't want to give anyone the impression that Kerach is some ancient warlord-dire wolf demigod hybrid who can shapeshift into a crazy hot wolf man with a tragic backstory and be some optional Patreon-exclusive love interest, thus turning this into an MMFM fever dream. Be serious, guys.

Okay, finally got time from work to write my thoughts (I was too sleepy last night to write): Ah, I missed teasing Serax. And I know I should be mad at him for laughing and spooking our nun, but I find him letting her run into his arms and constantly hoisting her up really cute, especially since she's teeny 😂. Don't know what that says about me, but it shows a bit of his playful (even if petty) side. Pluuuuus, my MC is kind of showing him up by being a mega nerd, so fair is fair 😂. She gave him the stink eye for looming over her and lectured Kerlach for being mean (let her pet!). I really do enjoy the banter between her and Serax and your prediction on how I'd play her is correct: She's leaning to devotee for Val, while being combustive with Serax 😂😭. Girlie really has favorites, to the point even the big wolf is higher up than Serax in her eyes (she's leaning tender to wolfie). SPEAKING OF, I doth think the lady protesth to much about the wolf just being a dog. Also, to play devil's advocate, can there really be a vampire story without a werewolf trying to steal the girl? (Also, echoing Scorp, I'm SURE the guys would love sharing her, especially since I see that MMFM tag, girl—meaning it's a V Poly between the trio and the dog and I'm honestly dying.)

Now that I'm reasonably awake, my actual Thoughts and Opinions: - first of all, I HOPE that one anon from Tumblr who always included Kerach in their asks as if Kerach IS a secret RO is one of your patrons, because I bet they would be stocked about Kerach dynamics 😂😂 - The glossary\reference sheet would be amazing and I am super looking forward to it! 🧐 - Now back to the plot: I was, kinda amused that if you are mild\polite to Serax (e.g. when waking up), he is a tad disoriented by that 🤭 E.g. I am playing it as giving back the same vibe he gives the MC (so when he stares impolitely she stares back, but asking someone who noticed you waking up why they are looking at you is a tad rude — that kinda reasoning) - Also, surprisingly enough, I planned to have an Erudite MC, but I keep gravitating towards Intuitive choices, because Wisdom is my fav DnD stat and I cannot stand being unable to read the vibes.. No nerd MC for me now, as much as her lil' lecture about the composition of the dish is endearing 🤭🤭 (Or, most likely, an Erudite MC on the second playthrough, but not on the 1st one) - That being said Serax is now on my fight list until the future notice due to him not warning the MC about Kerach: I totally get MC here, but also Serax is very lucky she's not me, because I think I would've legit peed myself right then and there (Random thing, but I am deathly scared of big dogs; I almost got attacked by a pack of wild ones when I was 6, but, thankfully, I knew you can't run as that will provoke them, so I just had the most terrifying slow track to the nearest place with people. So kinda 20-30 minutes while being tiny, helpless and slowly circled by 10+ big aggressively growling animals 😶) - @ MFMM thing: I think there will be a sharing problem for all the parties involved, no? Unless... Tragic wolf-warlord stealing the MC into a totally different MF route 🤣🤣 (don't go with him, MC, he's a cannibal...) Btw, for Kerach dynamic: which is the leading stat for determining it? Stoic\Tender?
