NM I found it, 2-22 was missing from the collection

mmarkgraf212

? I looked and they were all there.

Just a question how old is the youngest to just be a general engineer. Usually that’s like a first year uni student with no chosen speciality. Is he actually just a mathematician with background in other fields? If so that would make sense why they said they just wanted to be an engineer without specifying anything.

Shmooggie

Finally! Someone knowledgeable in chemistry/biology! Alex needed someone with those skills eventually if he ever wants to terraform the planet.

Fortunis

Interesting. I do like Alex's focus on space technology and robotics. You can do a hell of a lot of groundside with robotics. Building massive construction robots capable of using environmental materials to create further infrastructure such as farm towers and the like would be a fantastic way to become self reliant. They could even be used to build entire arcologies given enough time. That's ofcourse supposing Alex doesn't just terraform the entire planet over time. I'd imagine mining robots would be key as well since he literally owns an entire planet.

The chapter numbering is off its missing a chapter to make this chapter 40

They don't care if people gain knowledge, only that they pay for that knowledge. (I think, I remember and sto policy about not sharing knowledge modules. ) Also remember it's not sto that would go to war, it's the corporations. STO seems like a federation. It policies the greater region and interstellar trade, but corporations and systems still have their own separate governments and "militaries".

Theo. G

Knowledge isn't proprietary, so it seems wild that the STO would punish people for learning things. I get that they want to monopolize learning materials, but I never imagined they would go to war over a school.

mmarkgraf212

TIL. And no, it was just the name I came up with for the story.

ShadeByTheSea

I always wondered if "blue star" was a stand-in for earth. Mainly ask because a lot of Chinese authors use blue star instead of earth to avoid censorship. (So readers don't think the story is real or something like that)

Zachary Patterson

Thank you for the chapter!

Zachary Patterson

Let them get a feel for hoe Edens end is (aka totally diffrent than sto or petrov) and let them come to him...

Gabriel Melnik

I feel like he should have put some effort into poaching the engineering and maintenance guys.

SkyGold

A deluge of chappies! Great thanks!
