Episode 5.0 Post-Release Update + Christmas DLC

A few days have passed since the release of episode 5.0, so it’s time for a little recap. Usually, I don’t enjoy the first few days after an update because people write opinions right away. I get lots of messages saying the update was “short” or that people are disappointed. But I also got many messages saying you liked it, which makes me really happy, so it's quite a rollercoaster.
I know SoD has both fans and haters, and that’s totally fine—it’s a genre that not everyone will like. I also like to be a bit sarcastic and unprofessional sometimes, so let’s just say we’re even :D
If I could complain about something, it’s that people still think the updates are “short” just because we are undedicated or lazy. I’ve been spending an average of 300 hours a month on the project for the last three years, even working on Sundays, because I love what I do. Making renders and the whole game setup takes a lot of time, and it can’t be rushed without losing quality. (Yes, we’re actively looking for new artists, but haven’t found anyone yet.) I repeat this often because I really hope people understand it eventually.
Still, I’m happy to see how SoD has grown and how many fans it has. I’ll do my best to keep it that way.
As you know, around mid-December—tentatively December 12—we’ll release a new Christmas DLC called “A Dream of Christmas.” We’re still working on it, but we’re doing everything to finish it before the holidays. You can already add it to your wishlist! In future posts, I’ll slowly reveal little secrets about it and share some renders.

I'm a little late to finish this update, had some other things to take care of first. But I think this was fantastic! Really loved the poker night and the cosplay podcast segments!

The story is great, the renders are beautiful, Riley and Ivy are smokin' hot, the mechanics are fun and not overly complicated or hard to navigate. I agree with Macvaliant. There haters everywhere for everyone and everything. In regards to this game. If I had to nickpick anything negative, it be the quests, have to do this or get this before you can do this. Otherwise, I enjoy it. I am curious about one thing, I had played this game on Gamecore. I later purchase it from Steam. Will the updates appear on Steam and through the game that I had downloaded? Or will I have to get the updates as well?

Tell me of an art form that never had critics of it? It's an impossibility to please everyone. I think the term "hater" is overused and often not applicable in use these days. If someone really hated your work they just wouldn't play it. If someone is that feral in complaints then tell them to eff off and be done with it. Use your creativity to give as good as you get and be happy about it. I enjoy your work. Not everything is to my taste and I may even skip or rush through the odd scene. What pee's me off about some AVN's is when they delete the skip function ability altogether. I'm arthritic in my hands and hitting the space bar or mouse button in rapid succession is downright painful. I usually choose the barwork rather than pole dancing option for the same reason.

There are choices in the game, but in the end it’s a corruption game and you are forced to do some things - you can’t skip everything. This is most likely not a game for you.

hello, new here. before i purchase the game i need to know does choice actually matter, i have played some games recently where they claim it (fresh story) but then force MC to sleep with someone or do something out of character. say for instance can you play the game loyal to husband, sure you miss out on sex scenes but can it be done? or can i actually choose who i sleep with?... being a woman i am tired of cheating sims, forced into sex with dirty old men. can you go down a lesbian route?

Just finished viewing the new episode. Great work! Delightfully naughty and nice ... at once debauched and dulcet. A good storyline that is well balanced, well paced, well scripted, without too many characters or branches, and nicely complemented by excellent renders and animations (the facial expressions that accompany thoughts and deeds could not be better). I like it, and I suspect that you receive far more compliments than criticism. As you should.
