I bet you do -> I bet you would the work we could -> the work we could do had taken as a smith -> had talent as a smith,

Carrarn

Yeah, you're burning through the chapters :P

Alex

I actually managed to build up a bit of a backlog, but now that I'm reading it again, I doubt it'll last all that long. Maybe till this evening? I've got a few other things to do today. :)

Carrarn

Do you mean during the rewrite? If you do, I agree with you. I had wanted to do many things with it and actually wrote parts of it at certain points in the last ten chapters, but each time, it just didn't fit. I'll write out a better way to work that in, and probably fix it back on Scour before the leave- likely in the time period from the reforging to before they leave. There are many windows of possibility there that would make sense.

By the way... In the book I suggest you handle the last wish of the little fire guy right away. I mean, this could be a time-limited urgent task, and if Irwin only gets to it months later many years will have passed in the fire world, so there's a chance that when he finally makes it back there it's a century too late. Sure we don't know, but that is the point - it keeps nagging me and I don't want to have to rely on the writer and plot armor for it to work out.

Fixed, thanks

> Irwin frowned, looking at the book. What could possibly be difficult to learn for his friend?" You have a few erroneous single quotation marks, this is not the only one (end of sentence).

Wurschtelpotz

> "I can reforge emerald cards up to ninety percent every time The "up to" means this is a sales person or politician sentence, it does not actually provide any information.

Wurschtelpotz

> Gelwin said as he lowered himself from the tower From the... tower???

Stephen Pearson

Thanks for the chapter! :-)

Fabian

I would personally prefer the more detailed approach, but do what feels right to you!

Fabian

Thank you for the chapter!

Carrarn

Fixed, and - holy shit! Were you expecting me to press the release button just now? :P That had to have been record

Joao Sousa

"When is the lad time" - > when was the last time "slate-gray beard that covered the entire chest and of the figure" - > either the "and" is superfluous or some other word is missing

Carrarn

A question: there will be a return to familiar locations from Giard in the next few chapters. Do you want them detailed, in-depth, and with lots of character interactions, or shorter and mostly only to progress the plot? In my eyes, there has been a lot of character interaction and not enough plot, however, I have been told in the past that I sometimes tend to go to fast ;) As my patreons you get a say in this!
