Irwin's Journey - quick status update about a rewrite of chapters (399 to 402)

So, got a bit more feedback on the last four chapters than I usually get, and after reading some of the chapters again, I see where its coming from. I've descided to change some things around for this, and that will cost time.
So, I'll be editing some chapters today and tomorrow, meaning there will probably be no new chapters over the rest of the weekend. I'll probably be able to salvage most of today's chapter and post it Monday or Tuesday.
For those who don't read the comments- I'll be changing the following.
Chapter 399 and 400 are where Irwin is talking about potentially skipping three hand cards to fix the Su's father, the rune creator's hands followed by the Concerto chapter. I'll be splitting those two up in three chapters and adding a section to wrap up the 'broken hands' part. At the same time, I'll probably wrap up the section with Basil, so its not left hanging.
Chapter 401 and 402 will also be split up into three, as I'll be adding some requested scenes where Irwin and the others come to those harbors with the dead people. Potentially from the POV from one of those being saved.
I'll also be changing the reasoning for why and how Irwin is reforging his cards. I've already got an idea on how to do that differently.
Anyway, if you have any feedback on these four chapters, now would be the time to let me know. It will take a significant chunk of time.

Thanks for the update! I appreciate the commitment to transparency and quality. Don't feel too pressured to increase the volume of content in the revision, as long as the narrative order and timing work, and the story threads flow into one another. A lot of questions that came up over the last few chapters are often "why" and not "how" - why is this story thread being followed up right now, why is a plague relevant to the journey home, why did this character make these decisions. It's ok to skip some details or sidequests for pacing if the broad strokes get us through, and said details/sidequests are not significant later. Hope the rest of your weekend goes smoothly.

So can the soul clone leave the soul world or is that what the special card is for? Also Irwin should should forge a dual shield and weapons card. With his talent it should be easy. Or a All weapons card that lets him summon any weapon. Also he had a metal type card and he should get a full suit of armor card. Full plate knight armor would look cool. He could sideways reforge that mail fist on fire card to a summons. Knight armor that is on fire. All hail the daemon lord! Lol
