Long list :) I cant promise everything on that list because at a minimum that would be a spoiler, but theres a few things on there that wont happen ;)

Wish list: - Complete card upgrades for everyone before any fight on the way back. - Irwin was supposed to get his heart-card, right? So the movement is missing? - Next battle can be a non-issue instead of hard-fought. Irwin breaks any barrier using overwhelming soulforce and sound, moves in with movement skill, unleashes huge amount of fir => everybody and their ship dead or at least out of fight options. Greldo not even needed. Not every battle has to be on the edge. - Their world remains hidden, no hidden tracking, please. I would HATE such foreshadowing. In general, I just cannot enjoy any chapters when a story foreshadowed some huge threat. I just stop reading and only read when the threat has been dealt with, even if that is two hundred chapters later. I may then go back and read what happened in between, but I just don't want any such dystopian shadows hanging over everyone's head. I get it, I'm too sensitive for this cruel genre. - They have time to build up their forces for quite a while. Given the strength of the threat, if their world becomes known I don't see how they could possibly defend the portal. By the way, can't they just close the portal? They planted all those trees, but would it not have been better to close it? Can a portal be opened and closed on demand? It didn't take long to open it initially. That would prevent the portal's influence to spread, and would require that someone who can sense it gets very close to its location. - I still would like that poor tiny-heart-card scout to get an upgrade :-) - The still hidden tracking on the Sonata will not be an issue and Rindiri will be fine and return some day. I prefer Dark and Dytopian stuff to be like in Azarinth Healer. Rhaegar again and again tries very hard - over several experimental novels even - to write dystopian stories, but they always feel light. I'm glad he does not succeed. I mean it's bad when certain characters die, but overall he seems incapable of providing a dystopian atmosphere. To me that's a good skill, or a good lack of skill. So please, be as bad as Rhaegar at writing in dark mode :-) I don't understand the hidden tracking anyway. Does it work without soulforce? I also keep ignoring that I have no idea what the soul lake actually does. Apart from getting used in the formation of the heartcard. Does one have more power when it is filled?

I just read "The Mercenary Path" by Seb Falc on RR recently. That author has a huge problem with starting a large number of his dialog sentences with "Well,...", or "Alright,...". Now that I've been sensitized towards this issue I see that Carrarn must be a relative or friend of that Mercenary Path author? Too many "Alright,...", "Well,..." and "Okay,..." in these chapters too. I too have a filler-word problem in my spoken language, and I preface problems with "The problem is...". So I'm a filler-word person too...
