Actually, the Occulithar was sensing lots of little soul force things moving around. I assumed that was Geldar forces/agents, but maybe it is individuals’ soul scapes?

Just noticed, this should be Ch 395

Still working on it, but atleast I managed to get it on my normal hosting instead of that funky one that was trying to inject shit into it. https://thewastelandpublishing.com/cardtest/index.html This is the old one still, but I'm working on a react nextjs version. No idea when it will be ready as I'm being kept bussy with to many things right now ;-)

Oh. Thanks. This is why I'm looking forward to the website. Even if all it does is track the cards of the main cast.

Thanks for the chapter! This chapter brings up a big question: where exactly are soulscapes located? It's not surrounded by regular ambient soulforce, as it might be if it were a spacial distortion within or around Irwin's body, but instead by chaotic soulforce, which is a bit more akin to something that exists within, well, chaos space. Chaos might actually be a viable route for Irwin, if he could find chaos-typed cards. There's probably a vague connection to steam (chaos theory with fluid flow) and heat, as well as raw creation (cosmonogy) that lines up to some degree, and lets him slot it. It's probably a must-have if he ever intends to fight Occulithar on their home turf, but it also might improve his ability to naturally absorb chaotic soulforce. And circling back to creation - it would probably help both his personal card creation, and his soulscape's ability to potentially evolve life on its own.

I wonder if Doomblade has the soul crystals of his fallen collected? A bit grim, but they can’t leave it for enemies, and the cards would be a valuable form of currency. The writing didn’t specify if the body he disposed of at the end was one of his people or an enemy.

I’m really looking forward to seeing what happens with the Yuurindi, hopefully next week. So far Rindiri appears to have lured them with respected jobs on a ship they can be in control of. But if there is a large population it will be clear they’re not needed for the ship to run. She’ll probably have to reveal there is a world on offer for them to give up their lives here. And will Irwin make the rune wielder an offer? That part did imply the plague is also here. But wouldn’t they have the smithing resources to cure it?

Eric M

He only has two soulcards, the hammer and Vaelite were part of his first soulcard, the guitar his second, and the titan card will be his 3rd once he fills his soul lake.

Thanks for the chapter! :-)

"This might just be a consequence of the oddity of your third heartcard." Isn't this one Irwin's fourth? First is his hammer. Second is the Vaelite heart. Third is the Soulstrum guitar (Tablature something). Then this one is fourth.
