you guys were so funny when you talked about Oda's habits for writing One Piece lol. Actually, the entire manga industry has a major problem with writers' burnout and sickness related to crazy work habits. One of my favourite page that talks about manga is " Lezioni di fumetto" ( Comics' lesson in English). Igort, the creator, is one of the few European artists who actually works in the manga industry and his "tales" are nuts. He recently put an interview with Toni Servillo, who is probably most famous for his role in "The Great Beauty"; a great and super interesting interview talking about great manga artist ( I know that you guys are super into movies not just like workers into the industry but especially as Fan; every time you speak about some movies/ actors ,I picturing myself talking about it with the same vibes lol, so probably the eng sub will help if you are interested).

So you probably caught it on the re-watch but the reason Vivi fell is because her shoe broke. Also Oda is so great that the canon were looking for is in the Clock that is shown every episode to give us the time limit.

Pluton has nothing to do with Plutonium. They referred to it as an Ancient Weapon in a previous episode. I believe it is named after the Roman God Pluto, AKA God of the Dead

you mentioned crocodiles actor auditioning with the laugh. Oda actually intentionally stylizes many characters laughs to give them a "unique" laugh to fit their personality. So even the manga readers dont miss out on the crazy laughs! One of the many quirks in his story. They can get quite ridiculous too haha

Yeahhh they donβt know about thatβ¦if we can get them to start Hunter Hunter someday I can die a happy DeVan Clan member π itβs up there with One Piece as one of the greatest for me and Berserk too, the only thing One Piece has over Hunter Hunter is that Oda never really put down the Pen while Togashi(love him to death) is notorious for his hiatuses so after considering the difference I guess it really shows who the true GOD of manga is π

The Goda thing comes from another mangaka who did the series Hunter x Hunter and Yu Yu Hakusho, named Yoshihiro Togashi the fans started referring to him as "ToGODshi" for his next level writing so people started doing the same with Oda calling him Goda for his next level writing.

Thanks for the episodes. Have you went back and rewatched the live action yet? I feel as if there is a clear distinction between Luffy from both sides. The live action, Luffy looks more innocent and inexperienced, while the anime, luffy is more carefree and goofy
